Michael Jackson was still going for pop hits with 1991's Dangerous, but he also front-loaded the album with six straight Teddy Riley-assisted cuts. This half-hour swoop of tense, aggressive, often angular funk was Jackson's most interesting music since Thriller, and still sounds, well, invincible on this remastered edition. After that, the record's uneven, but there's nothing embarrassing about it, either. "Gone Too Soon," a non-Jackson composition about teen AIDS casualty Ryan White, is a quiet statement (particularly played next to the choir-laden "Heal the World," "Keep the Faith," and "Will You Be There") showing that the star doesn't always have to get showy. The sprightly "Black or White" is explicitly pro-interracial romance, an angle its video didn't go near, and the urgent "Give In to Me" is almost scary. Scary good, that is. --Rickey Wright

Comments about Dangerous - Michael Jackson:
Best album of all time for me. Never I found those hot tunes on any album again except on other MJ albums!
Easily the greatest New Jack Swing album of all time. Every song is a classic and this is my personal favourite!
DANGEROUS, is a landmark in the art of pop, and Michael Jackson has always been and will always be the king of pop undisputedly, no matter how many years will happen to pass before another legend could knock him off his undisputed crown, and I really feel skeptic that any other artist could achieve such a fame that Michael has done with his so special and brilliant music that really happen to live for at least 30 years since he landed on hisolo carreer, Dangerous is a real master piece and inspite of selling far less than his phenomenal THRILLER, but I really vote for it as his best work so far, thi album included some awesome songs that changed the wayz people listened to pop, WHO IS IT is a real prodigal track on both musical and lyrical basis, besides GIVE IN TOE is another track that makes me really wonder how to classify it wether it was a pop song or a metal song, it got some parts of it as a metal and other as a pop, with a very special guitar solo played by the guitar legend SLASH, besides this album got the best of all music videos of all times... no need to say that BLACK OR WHITE is another wonder included in that magnificent album... THUMBS UP MICHAEL... you re alwayz the best and you re alwayz the king.
"who is it? " "in the closet" "jam" "dangerous" - the hits keep coming! great album!
